Being prepared · established with the first cars in 2028

Every mile with a passenger, a child's future.

Every paid mile an ETIOCA taxi drives, counting the income from all its services, will add to a children's reserve. From it, the ETIOCA Foundation will support twenty-one children for every car on the road, every month, until they turn 18.

567,000

children a month: the plan once all 27,000 ETIOCA cars of 2028 are on the road, 21 children for every car.

Why it matters

A fair start should not depend on where a child is born.

Child poverty is not only far away. It is in the classrooms of the cities where our cars will work, and it is deepest where a child cannot count on a meal, a doctor or a school.

United Kingdom10 in 30

About ten children in every class of thirty: 4.5 million children, 31%, lived in relative poverty after housing costs in 2023/24.

DWP, Households Below Average Income
European Union1 in 4

19.5 million children, 24.2%, were at risk of poverty or social exclusion in 2024.

Eurostat
Sierra Leone2 in 3

66% of children lived in multidimensional poverty, missing at least one basic need such as food, health care or education.

UNICEF Sierra Leone
Morocco280,000

About 280,000 pupils leave school every year, most of them in middle school.

Ministry of National Education, 2025

We will never use a child's suffering to ask for attention. The children we support keep their dignity and their privacy: no photos without consent, no names, no stories told for effect.

Our answer

Not a donation box. A rule built into every car.

  1. The mile

Every paid mile (or kilometre in Europe) driven with a passenger is counted by the car.

  2. The income

Fare, roof and in-cab screens, mini-bar, coffee, on-board shop and wallet: all of it counts.

  3. The reserve

A share for every mile goes into a children's reserve, planned at the government-guaranteed Gibraltar Savings Bank.

  4. The Foundation

Each month the Foundation pays out from the reserve, only for children, through trusted local partners.

  5. The child

School, food and health care: one child at home, ten in Sierra Leone and ten in Morocco for every car, until 18.

The scale

The more we drive, the more children.

252,000

children a month in the UK with 12,000 cars, first half of 2028

315,000

children a month in Europe with 15,000 cars, from Q4 2028

21

children for every car: 1 at home, 10 in Sierra Leone, 10 in Morocco
